Why an engineered wall

A slope left alone moves. A wall built right holds it for decades.

We build segmental block walls, natural stone walls, tiered garden walls, decorative sitting walls, and engineered structural walls for the steepest lots in Beaver County. Our crew is trained through the Samson School for Advanced Segmental Paving, so the wall behind the block is built to the same standard as the face you see.

Excavation, drainage, and base prep. The part nobody sees is the part that keeps it standing.

Three phases, one crew.

01

Dig and compact

We cut the slope back to ground that can carry the load, trench the footing, and compact the gravel base course by course. The wall starts long before the first block shows up.

02

Build

Excavation, drainage pipe, geogrid where the slope calls for it, block or natural stone set course by course. Every wall is engineered for the soil pressure behind it, not just stacked and hoped for.

Finish

Cap stone, backfill compaction, and the planting or patio work that ties the wall into the rest of the yard. A wall isn't done until the ground around it is.

Tiered systems for steep lots

Multi-level walls turn a slope you couldn't use into terraced yard space, with drainage between every tier and reinforcement built for the grade. Beaver County has no shortage of steep backyards. This is how we get them flat.

Curved walls, cut to the yard

Not every slope runs straight. We set curved courses around garden beds and driveways, lit at night, capped with stone that stands as a design feature and not just a retaining structure.

Detail work

The cap stone is the last thing we set and the first thing you touch.
